The first resident minister, The Rev. C. D. Watt, settled in Milang in 1861 and conducted services in his own home and also in Pavy's Flour Mill. The Church was built in 1862 and originally had a thatched roof. In the 1870s the church was extended by the addition of a transept. The Congregational Church became part of the Uniting Church of Australia in 1977. |
