29. Soldiers' Memorial Park

Between Daranda Terrace and Coxe Street

Originally a World War I Memorial, following World War II Memorial Gates were added to commemorate those who had died in that conflict. They were made and donated by Johnny Hirst and officially opened on 14 November 1948 by the Governor of South Australia, Sir Willoughby Norrie.
