27. The Milang Institute.

The Foundation Stone was laid by Mrs A. H. Landseer on 3 August 1883 and was opened on New Year's Day 1884 by the Hon. James Rankine. It was originally lit by gas produced from its own machine. The Library and outside staircase were added in the 1920s. The Supper Room was completed in 1962.
