11. Milang Railway Station

Daranda Terrace

The branch railway line from Sandergrove to Milang was opened in 1884, due in great part to the efforts of A. H. Landseer. The train service linked with the paddle steamers which served Narrung and Point McLeay and goods were taken from the station to the jetty by a horse-drawn truck running on a 3ft 6in line. The last train left Milang in June 1970.
