Boat Building

HISTORY

Between 1857 and 1900 a significant number of paddle steamers and other boats were built at Milang by Frank Potts of Langhorne Creek, George Ross of Milang and others.

Many of these vessels were constructed for the Milang based company A.H. Landseer & Co which had extensive commercial interests along the Murray River, including significant warehouses at Milang and Morgan.
